php installer installation problem on non-US Mac OS X

Postby rnusser » Fri Mar 21, 2008 12:28 am

Installer does probably only function on US versions of Mac OS X. Does not work on Swiss German machine with 10.4.11 (TIGER). The example file is not open that modifications can be made.
Also the
/Macintosh HD/Users/sogetes/Library/Application Support/FileMaker/gl/php/libphp5.dylib
was copied in the appropriate directory php cannot be initialized.

What to do?

The installation did happen at the right place, in the mentioned directory above.

I have attached another test file that works just on my Mac. Can you please try it on yours and tell me what happens?

Maybe you can even send the files back to me after you try so I can see the results.

Thanks

Thank you Todd.

In the meantime I upgraded my MacBook with a 250GB drive and updated to 10.5.3 (Leopard).

The php_Test.fp7 works fine.

It would be nice to get rid of the path:
/Users/myUserName/Library/Application Support/FileMaker/gi/php/libphp5.dylib

Thank you for your efforts. Sincerely Ralph

Hello

what do you mean by "get rid of the path" ?

Do you think we should put the files somewhere else?
